Colorado debuts new UI claims system

DENVER — After countless reports of issues from users, the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment has rolled out a new system for unemployment insurance claimants.

The Denver Post reports the new system had been in the works for decades, but the unprecedented pressure of last spring’s unemployment wave made the system prone to errors and bugs that affected those out of work.
