8z launches Keys4Life financial literacy, grant program
BOULDER — 8z Real Estate LLC, a Boulder-based real estate brokerage, has launched Keys4Life, a financial literacy grant program aimed at first-time home buyers.
Clients — a total of seven in the grant’s first cohort — who take advantage of the program will have access to three virtual classes on topics including credit, down payment, budgeting and debt to income ratios, according to an 8z news release.
They will also be eligible for a pool of $250,000 in grant funding to be used to cover closing costs.

“The events of the recent past have brought to light stark disparities within our community,” 8z president Ryan Carter said in the release. “We’ve taken time, as a company, to re-examine our values and double down on exactly what 8z stands for. Not surprisingly, the purpose statement we created during our founding over a decade ago still rings true: We create stronger communities through home ownership.”
