UC Boulder to start helping employees on home down payments

BOULDER — The University of Colorado-Boulder said it plans to pitch in for employees looking to buy a home in a city where the median sales price regularly floats round the $1 million mark.

The Denver Post reports the program is run through Landed, a startup that will pay half of a qualifying employee’s down payment up to $120,000 in exchange for 25 percent of the value of home when it is later sold.
