Software maker simPRO raises $16.4M

BROOMFIELD — SimPRO Holdings Inc., the U.S. subsidiary of an Australian software company, raised $16.4 million this week.

The entirety of the all-equity fundraiser came from a single investor, according to filings made Tuesday with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

SimPRO creates web applications for contractors and building maintenance staff, from tracking service calls to automating invoices. The company’s global headquarters is in Brisbane, Australia, and has two other offices in the United Kingdom and New Zealand.

According to previous filings, the company’s American branch last raised $30.5 million in 2016 when it was based in Boulder.
