$41.5M Xcel rate increase approved
DENVER — The Colorado Public Utilities Commission has approved a $41.5 million annual rate increase for Xcel Energy Inc. (NYSE:XEL) customers in Colorado, according to a Boulder Daily Camera report.
The increase, which is lower than the $158 million bump requested by Xcel, will add a little more than a dollar to monthly residential bills and nearly $2 for small commercial customers, the report said.
