Burst water pipe floods part of Old Town

FORT COLLINS — A 90-year old water pipe froze and burst on Fort Collins’ Jefferson Street yesterday, flooding about a dozen businesses and City Hall.

The Coloradoan reports that the burst pipe closed the downtown street off from traffic for much of the afternoon after a freeze-thaw cycle created a crack that became a leak in the system.
