Builders to break ground on $35M Colorado Springs Switchbacks stadium 

COLORADO SPRINGS — A ceremony will be held Saturday to celebrate the groundbreaking of a new $35 million, 8,000-seat stadium that will be home to the Colorado Springs Switchbacks professional soccer team, according to a Colorado Springs Gazette report.

The stadium, which will be built in a partnership with the team and developer Weidner Apartment Homes, is expected to open in March 2021.
