3 Colorado cities high on Tech Town Index
CompTIA, a trade association for the global technology industry, recently released its annual Tech Town Index and Boulder, Colorado Springs and Denver were all ranked in the top 20 American cities for tech professionals.
The index ranks cities using factors such as projected employment growth, real wages and cost of living.
Denver was ninth on the list, followed by Boulder at 14th and Colorado Springs at 16th. Austin, Texas was tops on the index.

“The 2019 Tech Town Index includes a mix of traditional tech hubs, cities that have in recent years flexed their tech industry muscles and new markets that are staking their claims as budding innovation centers,” Nancy Hammervik, executive vice president for industry relations at CompTIA, said in a prepared statement.
