Here’s how Larimer County residents can chime in on oil, gas regs

FORT COLLINS — The first period for Larimer County residents to provide input on the future of the county’s oil and gas regulations is now open and will run through Dec. 1.

Public comments can be submitted online at larimer.org/planning/oil-and-gas-regulations or via email to community development director Lesli Ellis at ellislk@larimer.org.

County staffers are holding an open office Nov. 21 in Fort Collins for residents interested in learning more. That event will be held at 200 W. Oak St. in the Lake Loveland Conference Room.

The county has tentatively set a second public comment period to begin Jan. 3, 2020.
