Dacono’s EarthRoamer starts production on new vehicle

DACONO — A Dacono-based custom vehicle manufacturer began production Friday on its first EarthRoamer LTi, a carbon-fiber off-road recreational vehicle that will set back its buyers by up to $700,000.

BusinessDen reported that the company has 12 orders so far. The new vehicle, build on a Ford frame, is cheaper than the other models it produces.

EarthRoamer is the trade name for Xpedition Vehicle Service LLC, owned by Bill Swails.
