Xerox eyes HP takeover
NORWALK, CONNECTICUT — Xerox Holdings Corp. (NYSE: XRX) is mulling an acquisition of HP Inc. (NYSE: HPQ), according to a Wall Street Journal report.
The cash-and-stock deal, which was discussed by Xerox’s board Tuesday, could be worth about $27 billion.
Should the acquisition eventually happen, it is unclear what impact it would have on HP’s Northern Colorado operations.
There are an estimated 900 to 1,100 employees working at HP Inc. and Hewlett Packard Enterprise (NYSE: HPE) offices at 3404 E. Harmony Road in Fort Collins.
