Election 2019: Quinn poised to reclaim Broomfield’s mayoral seat

BROOMFIELD — Patrick Quinn, who served as Broomfield’s mayor from 2007 to 2013, will likely take that position back.

As of 10:41 p.m., with all precincts reporting, Patrick Quinn was leading with 36.16 percent of the vote. Kimberly Groom trailed by a few hundred votes at 34.05 percent, and Kevin Kreeger accounted for 29.79 percent of the vote. 

Current Broomfield mayor Randy Ahrens is term-limited.

The result of the election remain unofficial until the are certified next week.
