Quicksilver appoints Dyer to president role

LOUISVILLE — Quicksilver Scientific  Inc., a Louisville-based developer of advanced nutritional systems, has appointed Jason Dyer as president. Dyer will report to company founder and CEO Dr. Chris Shade. 

Quicksilver, ranked No. 652 on the 2019 Inc. 5000 list, moved into its new 60,000-square-foot facility in Louisville in August.

“When I asked Jason to join our board several years ago, we were amazed at how much more he brought to the table than is usually expected of someone in that role,”  Shade said in the written announcement of the appointment. “Because of his professional and personal experience in the natural health and wellness space, he has further inspired our team with innovative ideas for growth. His strong leadership skills, vision for our future and passion for our organization’s mission is among the many reasons we are thrilled he has agreed to join our management team.”

The company has developed proprietary superior liposomal delivery systems used in a variety of nutritional supplements that address a range of health needs from enhanced bioavailability of essential vitamins to elimination of ubiquitous toxins enabling consumers to achieve their genetic potential. 

Prior to joining Quicksilver Scientific, Dyer founded the consulting firm Green Door Strategic Partners, where he served as a strategic adviser for leading health and wellness companies including Designs for Health, Blackmores Limited and BioCeuticals, TSI Inc., and others. He has a bachelor’s degrees in business management and marketing from Lakeland University and certificates from Northwestern University (organizational leadership), Copenhagen Business School (strategic management and innovation) and Ludwig-Maximilians Universität München (advanced competitive strategy).

Christopher Wood is editor and publisher of BizWest, a regional business journal covering Boulder, Broomfield, Larimer and Weld counties. Wood co-founded the Northern Colorado Business Report in 1995 and served as publisher of the Boulder County Business Report until the two publications were merged to form BizWest in 2014.
