Excavation company fined for workplace deaths

WINDSOR — A Firestone company cited for a workplace trenching accident death has been fined $31,446.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration levied the fine for the April 16 accident, according to CBS News4. The company involved was Backhoe Excavation Inc. 

Killed were Cristopher Ramirez, 26, of Boulder, and Jorge Baez Valadez, 41, of Denver.
