Gogo to offer in-flight wi-fi on Chinese flights

BROOMFIELD — Gogo Inc. (Nasdaq: GOGO), an in-flight broadband connectivity firm, is partnering with satellite operate APT Mobile Satcom Ltd. to provide satellite-enabled wi-fi on Chinese flights, both domestic and international.

“The partnership will enable state-of-the-art network management services via APSATCOM’s Network Operating Center and data center in China, in tandem with Gogo’s global Ku satellite network outside of China,” according to a company news release.

The partnership is expected to be fully implemented by mid-2020.
