Banner Arizona selects Denver contractor for new center

DENVER — National health-care real estate developer NexCore Group has been chosen to develop Banner Health’s newest multispecialty health center.

The three-story, 130,000-square-foot Banner Health Center will be located in Glendale, Arizona.

The Banner Health Center will offer comprehensive clinical services, including family medicine, pediatrics, orthopedics, general surgery, dermatology, gastroenterology, cardiology, endocrinology, internal medicine and OB/GYN, as well as lab, pharmacy and imaging services. The facility is anticipated to break ground in January with a grand opening expected in early 2021.

Todd Varney, chief development officer and managing partner of Denver-based NexCore, said the new facility aligns with the developer’s primary mission of providing high-quality, collaborative health-care environments through facilities designed to bring efficiency and flow to both patients and healthcare practitioners.
