Innosphere leads Aspero Medical seed round
BOULDER — The Innosphere Fund, the funding arm of the local incubator for startup and scaleup science and tech-based companies, is leading a $1-million seed round of financing for Boulder-based Aspero Medical Inc.
The company has developed a medical device used in balloon endoscopy procedures.
“There are significant limitations with current technology used in gastrointestinal endoscopy procedures,” Aspero chief technical officer Mark Rentschler said in a prepared statement. “Our company has developed an alternative that will potentially improve performance of certain procedures, save time for practitioners and patients, and improve patient outcomes.”
