Grand Junction hotel ordered to make good on pay

GRAND JUNCTION — Employees of the Melrose Hotel in Grand Junction are owed back pay for minimum wage law violations, overtime pay violations and improper deductions from paychecks.

The hotel was ordered to make back payments amounting to thousands of dollars and also to pay penalties to the state, according to the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment decision as reported by the Grand Junction Daily Sentinel.
