Florio’s Shoes to close downtown Greeley store after nearly 100 years in business

GREELEY — Florio’s Shoes, opened by Lee Florio in 1922, will close its downtown Greeley store at 820 9th St. by the end of the year, according to a Greeley Tribune report.

Mark Florio and Brian Florio, the store’s current owners and Leo Florio’s great-nephews, will retire when the store closes.
