TownPlace Suites to open Friday in Loveland

LOVELAND — The Foundry, downtown Loveland’s $76 million, multiblock redevelopment, takes another major step toward completion Friday with the opening of Marriott International’s TownPlace Suites Loveland Fort Collins.

The 102-room hotel is located at 256 E. Second St. and is owned and managed by Concord Hospitality, based in Raleigh, North Carolina.

“The TownePlace Suites Loveland Fort Collins is the perfect addition to bustling downtown Loveland and will allow visitors the opportunity to experience all that the area has to offer – from great food and drinks right outside the hotel’s doorstep to the awe-inspiring sights of nearby Rocky Mountain National Park,” Mark Laport, president and CEO of Concord Hospitality, said in a prepared statement. “We are eager to welcome guests to Loveland’s newest hotel and to provide them with the services and amenities that guests have come to know and expect from a Concord property.”

Support groups and events, as well as creative therapies and professional counseling, are all ways in which Pathways supports individuals dealing with grief and loss.

The hotel is part of The Foundry, a mixed-use development that spans three blocks from Cleveland to Lincoln avenues. The project broke ground in 2017 and includes apartments, retail and restaurant space. A seven-screen Metrolux movie theater is expected to be completed later this summer.

The TownPlace Suites offers studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom suites with fully equipped kitchens, as well as separate living/working and sleeping areas. The property includes an indoor swimming pool, a 24-hour fitness center and meeting space for up to 96 people.
