Boulder’s FreeWave forms new board of directors

BOULDER — FreeWave Technologies Inc., a Boulder-based maker of high-speed wireless networking platforms for machine-to-machine communications, has formed a new board of directors.

That board, according to a company news release, will include:

  • Steve Wulchin, FreeWave co-founder and former CEO
  • Nazila Alasti, founder and CEO of Project FWD
  • Robert Dimicco, experience in managerial positions with firms including Cisco, Hewlett-Packard, Xerox, and Lowe’s Home Improvement 
  • Greg McCray, CEO of FDH Infrastructure Services
  • Allen Proithis, CEO of Capstone Partners

This is an exciting time for FreeWave,” CEO Kirk Byles said in a prepared statement. “With a strong legacy and track record of success to build upon, we believe the guidance and engagement of a dynamic new board of directors who passionately embrace our vision will elevate the business to a new level, one that will allow us to more rapidly accomplish our global growth goals while firmly establishing our role as an IIoT technology leader.”
