New developer takes reins at Windsor sports park

WINDSOR — The owner of the Orem Owlz, a minor league baseball team in Orem, Utah, has joined the effort to create a youth sports park in Windsor.

The Coloradoan reported that in addition to helping develop the sports park, the developer and sports team owner may relocate his team to Northern Colorado.

The Windsor park development is called the Colorado National Sports Complex and is in eastern Windsor in the Diamond Valley Sports Complex.

Steve Chasteen, the former developer, has left the project due to health issues, according to the report.
