Boulder’s FATV changes name to Ocelot

BOULDER — FATV, a Boulder-based provider of web videos and content about higher education and financial aid, has changed its name to Ocelot.

Financial Aid TV (FATV) is tradename registered to CareerAmerica LLC. Ocelot is not a tradename registered with the Colorado Secretary of State’s office.

The FATV brand will continue to exist as the featured online video service within the Ocelot AI Chatbot and Video Platform, according to a company news release.

“Ocelots are fun, agile, and smart cats. They are adaptable to changing environments, creating new paths so they can continue thriving,” FATV founder and CEO Damon Vangelis said in a prepared statement. “We work with college administrators to help students find and stay on their paths. Our services help students prepare for and thrive in the complex world of higher education.”
