Group Publishing opens applications for grants

LOVELAND — Group Publishing Inc., a Loveland publisher of Christian books and classroom materials, has opened its application process for cash awards that it provides to Northern Colorado nonprofit organizations.

Every year, Group commits a portion of its profits to nonprofit contributions. Since 1997, Group has donated more than $1 million to charitable organizations both domestic and abroad.

This year, Group will award $61,000 to Northern Colorado organizations.

All nonprofit organizations and churches (as certified by the Internal Revenue Service) that provide services in Northern Colorado are eligible. Organizations and churches in Adams, Broomfield, Boulder, Clear Creek, Gilpin, Grand, Jackson, Larimer, Logan, Morgan, Phillips, Routt, Sedgwick, Washington, Weld and Yuma counties can apply.

Applications will be accepted through July 12. Awards will be announced at a luncheon Oct. 11.
