Purvis Farm in Johnstown bought by developer

JOHNSTOWN — Purvis Farm, a roughly 100-acre property off Colorado Highway 60 in Johnstown, was sold earlier this year by the Purvis family.

The buyer, Weld County public records show, is Devco Investors LLC, a company registered to the Fort Collins address of real estate investment and development firm Everitt Cos.

The property, which included two homes and associated outbuildings, was sold by Purvis Properties LLC for $3.03 million, according to public records.

That price does not include water or mineral rights. The full asking price for the farm, which included 130 shares of water rights within Northern Water’s Colorado-Big Thompson project, was $6.7 million, according to a listing from agricultural real estate marketing firm AgriEnterprises LLC.

C-BT water shares now sell for about $37,000 each.
