Silicon Flatirons names interim director, starts search committee
BOULDER — Silicon Flatirons has formed a search committee to find a new executive director for the organization.
The position was left vacant after Phil Weiser was sworn in as the state’s attorney general.
Harry Surden, an affiliated faculty member with Silicon Flatirons and an associate professor at Colorado Law, is chairing the search committee. Surden is also serving as the interim executive director.

The new executive director will serve as a thought leader for the organization, lead fundraising efforts and external relations efforts. The director will also support Silicon Flatirons’ academic and research programs, oversee day-to-day and administrative functions and mentor and support students aspiring to work in technology law. Silicon Flatirons’ goal is to propel the future of technology policy and innovation.
