Nuventra expands Broomfield office

BROOMFIELD — Nuventra, a consulting firm for the pharmaceutical biotech industry, has expanded its Broomfield location, among others as the company grows.

Nuventra, which has seven employees in Broomfield and about 100 overall, is moving to a larger location that will be completed in March. The company also completed it renovation of its Durham, N.C., headquarters and the expansion of its office in Exton, Penn.

Nuventra focuses on clinical pharmacology and helping companies think about how to best develop their drugs and understand how drugs interact with the body, CEO Geoffrey Banks told BizWest. Before going to the FDA, companies have to do studies to prove the efficacy of the drug. Nuventra can consult with companies to help them find out the right dosage, how other drugs might interact with their drug and think through how the drug might behave. Larger pharmaceutical companies might have that level of expertise in-house, but smaller companies often work with consultants like Nuventra to make those determinations.
