New chair, vice chair for North Front Range MPO
FORT COLLINS — The North Front Range Metropolitan Planning Organization Council, the lead planning organization for transportation and air quality in Northern Colorado, has elected its new chair and vice chair for 2019.
Kristie Melendez, mayor of Windsor, will serve as chair. Dave Clark, a city of Loveland council member, will be vice chair.
Melendez served as vice chair of the MPO in 2018 and began serving on the organization in 2012. She has served on the Finance Committee since 2017. Melendez became Windsor’s first female mayor in 2016 after serving as mayor pro tem for two years.
