Data-processing company eyes Pueblo for location
PUEBLO — A data-processing company that is eyeing Pueblo for a location could boost the local economy by $25 million to $40 million over five years, according to a report in the Pueblo Chieftan.
Testimony filed with the Colorado Public Utilities Commission indicates that the company was recruited by Black Hills Energy, but the company’s identity and potential number of jobs was redacted. Black Hills has requested that the PUC approve a rate plan for the business.
Commissioners at a PUC meeting on Wednesday referred the request to an administrative law judge, who will provide a recommendation for the PUC’s April 10 meeting.
