Broadmoor proposes to double exhibition hall

COLORADO SPRINGS — The Broadmoor hotel may try to double its exhibition space in part to accommodate its biggest convention, the Space Symposium.

The hotel is proposing to add 93,500 square feet of space for that convention as well as other conventions that it would like to attract. It sees the addition as a economic development boon for the whole community, according to a report in the Gazette.

The Space Symposium will occur in April this year. It has been held in Colorado Springs since its founding.
