RTD increases fares starting today

LONGMONT — Regional Transportation District buses running in the Boulder Valley will cost more to ride starting today.

The Longmont Times-Call reported that RTD will implement its previously announced new fares with the coming of the new year. Fares, amounting to 20 to 75 cents more per ride, were announced in September. A city of Longmont subsidy will continue to maintain free rides on multiple local bus routes in the city.
