The Cup closing New Year’s Eve
BOULDER — Boulder’s The Cup Espresso Cafe is closing after more than a decade in business on Pearl Street, according to a post of the cafe’s Facebook page.
The cafe, which opened in April 2007, will cease operations after New Year’s Eve.
Owner Chris Ball told the Daily Camera rising rents, declining foot traffic and difficulty hiring were factors in the decision to shutter the business.
