Durango doctor opens hyperbaric practice

DURANGO — A new business has opened a hyperbaric service in Durango.

The Durango Herald reported that a father’s quest to aid his autistic son led to the decision to open Mountain Hyperbarics on Jenkins Road in the mountain community.

The hard-sided hyperbaric chamber can be used to treat numerous maladies including strokes, heart attacks, arterial diseases,  diabetic conditions and other medical conditions.
