State warns against Denver pot firm using unapproved pesticides

DENVER — The Colorado Department Agriculture and the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment have warned consumers not to use marijuana from Colorado Wellness Centers, a Denver-based cannabis dispensary doing business as Lush.

The state claims the company was found with plants with traces of unapproved pesticide pyriproxyfen, according to a report from the Denver Post.

Anyone who has affected marijuana flower, trim, concentrates and infused products should return them to the medical center for proper disposal, the state agencies recommend.
