Colorado Bioscience Association hires new CEO

DENVER — The Colorado Bioscience Association has selected a new president and CEO: Jennifer Jones Paton.

Jones Paton was selected after the board of directors search committee received more than 70 resumes and interviewed several candidates.

But the committee decided to promote from within: Jones Paton previously served as vice president of CBSA. In that role, she collaborated across industries and worked with nonprofits and policymakers to grow Colorado’s bioscience sector.

“She is an outstanding advocate and voice for our industry,” wrote Scott Larson, board chairman, and Ginny Orndorff, vice chairman, in a letter to members. “Her partnerships are unparalleled – she is valued across sectors for her perspective and expertise. And, her track record for success at CBSA and all of her prior roles speaks for itself.”
