ELECTION: Larimer approves mental-health tax on 2nd try

Larimer County voters turned out in favor of a measure to fund a plan to combat mental-health issues in the county. With 153,458 votes counted as of 11:30 p.m., the measure was passing with 61.29 percent of the vote in favor.

Issue 1A on the ballot will assess a 0.25 percent sales tax for 20 years to fund a mental-health master plan.
