Broomfield ramps up communication as drilling begins

BROOMFIELD — In anticipation of numerous calls with questions or complaints about oil and gas drilling in the community, Broomfield has embarked on a major communication plan to head some of it off.

The Boulder Camera reported the city will have online and offline means to reach residents. Communication might even include banners and mailers in affected areas of town. A compliant system component will also be part of the mix, according to the report.
