BlogMutt rebrands, adds more blog content services

BOULDER — BlogMutt, the Boulder-based blog content creation firm, has rebranded as Verblio and is adding services to its customers.

Steve Pockross, CEO of the company, said expanded services will include written as well as new artificial-intelligence-based video creation. As a multimedia content creation company, a new name was in order.

“Verblio provides a complete approach to content creation for digital SEO and content marketing,” Pockross said. “Our focus on SEO and digital marketing, an easy-to-use platform and engaged writers with deep subject-matter expertise produces highly engaging and effective content.”

Verblio will continue to focus on personalized support and matching clients with subject-matter experts in more than 40 unique industry categories, Pockross said. The company’s updates also include an enhanced white-label feature and customized enterprise solutions aimed at simplifying high-volume content creation for digital agencies.

Pockross said that Verblio, which under its former name was recognized in four consecutive years as one of BizWest’s Mercury 100 fastest-growing private companies in the Boulder Valley, attributes its success in large part to its group of nearly 3,000 talented, U.S.-based writers who are able to earn equity in the company based on their success with clients. “This company was co-founded by a journalist, and one of our core values is to create flexible, reliable work opportunities for writers,” Pockross said.

Verblio was founded in 2011 by former journalist Scott Yates and Wade Green, who serves as chief technology officer. The company serves more than 1,500 customers each month.
