GREELEY – UCHealth plans to hire more than 375 new employees to fill staff positions at UCHealth Greeley Hospital, which is set to open next year.
More than a quarter of those new employees — including directors, managers and supervisors — have already been hired. But there are about 285 positions left to fill, according to hospital president Marilyn Schock.
“We get to build a team and a culture from the ground up, which is exciting,” Schock said in a prepared statement. “The type of person we want to join this team is someone who has an intense passion to improve lives and provide an excellent experience for our patients and visitors.”
Job opportunities are posted on UCHealth’s careers page at careers.uchealth.org.
The UCHealth Greeley Campus, which is southwest of the intersection of U.S. 34 and 65th Avenue and will be home to both Greeley Hospital and Greeley Medical Center, broke ground in spring 2017. Hospital leaders expect the campus to open next spring or summer, according to UCHealth news release.
The 200,000-square-foot hospital will include 53 inpatient beds, a birth center, intensive care unit, operating and endoscopy rooms, a Level III trauma center and an emergency department.
The new UCHealth Greeley Medical Center will be a 112,500-square-foot outpatient facility with primary care services, specialty clinics, diagnostics, pharmacy, endoscopy, oncology services, imaging and laboratory services.
