Peaksware launches venture division

BOULDER — Peaksware, a Boulder-based training software development firm, has launched a new ventures division, according to a company news release.

The new division, called Peaksware Ventures, was formed to help identify and help fund products and companies to expand existing platforms and grow into new markets, the release said.

Peaksware Ventures will be headed up by Gear Fisher, TrainingPeaks cofounder and current Peaksware CEO. Fisher will focus on Peaksware Ventures as head of corporate development, while Andy Stephens, Peaksware’s Chairman, will assume the role of Peaksware CEO, the according to the release.
