SANTA CLARA, CALIF. — Broomfield and Greeley made a recent Realtor.com list of the nation’s 50 hottest zip codes.

The Greeley zip code 80631 was ranked 44th and the Broomfield’s 80021 zip code took the 48th spot on the list.

Realtor.com analyzes 32,000 ZIP codes based on the time it takes properties to sell and how frequently homes are viewed in each ZIP code on the website to determine the “hottest zip codes.”

Colorado Springs, which ranked second, was also included on the list. The other cities in the top five were Kentwood, Mich.; Watauga, Texas; Castro Valley, Calif.; and Peabody, Mass.

High-income millennials are helping to drive a nearly 10 percent increase in how fast homes are sold in the most popular areas of the country, which spans emerging suburban areas near Silicon Valley, throughout the Midwest, and on the East Coast, according to a news release that accompanied the list.
