Windsor approves revised sports-park plan

WINDSOR — The Windsor board of trustees has approved a revised plan to build a sports park in the town.

The Greeley Tribune reports that trustees Monday approved a plan, 5-0, to transfer the town’s Diamond Valley Sports Complex property to the Colorado National Sports Park developers. The plan is a scaled-back version of the Rocky Mountain Sports Park, which had been planned as the world’s largest sports park.

The Diamond Valley property is located at 801 Diamond Valley Drive. The Rocky Mountain Sports Park complex was to be located at Weld County Road 76 and Colorado Highway 257, and was envisioned to encompass 68 multi-use fields and a stadium.

Since solar is a long-term asset with an expected lifecycle of 30 plus years, ongoing O&M should be considered up front. A trusted O&M partner will maximize your system’s energy output and therefor the return on your investment.
