Ball Corp. listed on Dow Jones sustainability index

BROOMFIELD — Ball Corp. (NYSE: BLL) is listed on the 2018 Dow Jones Sustainability Indices World and North America for the sixth year in a row.

“Packaging is critical to delivering consumer products safely, conveniently and in good condition. And cans truly are the most sustainable package — economically and environmentally — relative to glass, plastic and other substrates, enabling a circular economy,” John A. Hayes, chairman, president and CEO, said in a prepared statement.

He added that the company has been working toward a greener business.
