Home2 Suites by Hilton opens in Longmont

LONGMONT — Home2 Suites by Hilton Longmont has opened at 710 S. Sherman St., providing a new all-suites options for lodgers in the city.

The 109-suite Home2 Suites by Hilton Longmont will serve the area’s tech industry by targeting business travelers, whether in town for one night or one month.

“Longmont is such an interesting gem of a town — a prime location, sitting in the backyard of both Boulder and Denver, but instead of surviving on the strengths of these two powerhouse cities, Longmont has created its own backbone, with a super vibrant downtown district, tech industries flourishing, breweries bursting at the seams and arts and music everywhere,” Carly Stephens, sales manager for the hotel, said in a prepared statement.” Our new hotel sits right in the middle of it all in Longmont.”

The hotel includes large studio-style guest rooms that include kitchenettes and sleeper sofas, with complimentary breakfasts, Wi-Fi and pet-stay policies.

It is owned and managed by Baywood Hotels Inc., which purchased the land in late 2016 for $1.2 million. The hotel is located east of South Sherman Street and north of Grand Avenue, behind the Sherman Village Shopping Center that fronts Ken Pratt Boulevard.
