Boulder-born cryptocurrency company expanding in Denver

BOULDER — A Boulder-born cryptocurrency firm, ZCash, is scaling up its Denver operations with new hires.

ZCash is looking to bring on six more employees, reports BusinessDen, to its staff of 27 employees globally. When the company was looking to find a new base for its engineering team — it was founded in 2015 — the Colorado team members selected Denver as its location.

ZCash works out of the RiNo co-working space, Industry.

ZCash said its currency, which is also called ZCash, offers more privacy than the well-known Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.
