Venture-capital funding increases in Boulder, Denver
Venture-capital investment increased in both Denver-Aurora and Boulder metropolitan statistical areas during the second quarter.
The Denver Business Journal reports that the Denver-Aurora area recorded $287.46 million in venture-capital funding for 36 companies, up from $168.47 million for the same period in 2017.
The Boulder metropolitan statistical area — encompassing Boulder County — recorded $161.49 million across 14 companies, up from $121.67 million a year ago. VC deals in Boulder in the second quarter of 2018 included funds raised by Wunder Capital, Sphero, GoodBelly, OnKure and KM Labs.
