State promises $2.9 million in incentives to bring German fitness manufacturer to Boulder

BOULDER — The Colorado Economic Development Commission approved $2.9 million in job-growth incentive tax credits for a German maker of fitness equipment if it brings 285 jobs to Boulder.

The company has been unnamed, but is being called Project Vollgas, reports the Denver Post.

The company was founded in 2010 and employs 300 people, mostly in Europe. It’s looking for a U.S. hub to host sales, operations and customer service workers.
