Lafayette may extend development review process
LAFAYETTE — The city of Lafayette plans code changes this week that will add to the time needed by developers to complete their projects.
The changes are intended to add public involvement to development projects prior to city council approval. The city council will consider the additional requirements at its meeting Tuesday.
According to a report in Boulder Camera, the new requirements could add months to development projects but give the public more information earlier so that they can comment on plans before their approval.
