Glendale development group to acquire Loretto Heights campus

DENVER — A Glendale-based development company has contracted to purchase the former Loretto Heights campus in Denver.

BusinessDen reports that Westside Investment Partners has contracted to acquire the 75-acre campus at 3001 S. Federal Blvd.

The campus originated in the 1890s as a school for Catholic girls, eventually becoming Loretto Heights College. It was purchased in 1988 by Teikyo University Group, which operated Colorado Heights University at the site until its closure in 2017. At least two other groups have attempted to purchase and redevelop the property, but those efforts have failed.
