California investment group buys Quiznos
DENVER — A California investment group has acquired Quiznos’ assets, but the company is expected to remain headquartered in Denver.
The Denver Post reports that High Bluff Capital Partners acquired the Quiznos assets, in a deal announced this week. Quiznos employs about 150 at its headquarters at 7595 Technology Way in the Denver Tech Center.
High Bluff’s decision to retain Quiznos’ headquarters in Denver should reassure economic-development officials still reeling from the loss of Chipotle Mexican Grill’s headquarters to Newport Beach, Calif., a move announced in late May.
